The Star Utilities are external utilities of The Star Commander but are distributed separately, as well. These user-friendly and fast freeware software handle several Commodore archive formats.
The latest public release is version 0.83, out since 11th January, 2010. You can find the Star Utilities on Web sites and FTP sites in an archive called suXYY.zip (where X.YY is the version number).

These programs are freeware. You may use them as long as you wish and you may give them to any individual, provided that they're in the original, unmodified archive. It is highly recommended that you download distribution packages from the homepage or other official distribution sites.
