IBM FAStT Check for Windows NT4, Windows 2000 and NetWare release
notes (RELEASE.TXT)

This is the initial release of FAStT Check version 2.0
                               
CONTENTS

1.0 RELEASE.TXT - This file

2.0 FASTC_RL.EXE - A self extracting file which will expand
    to the following:
   - README.txt (the Readme file for FAStT Check)
	Note: The README file that is part of this self extracting
        file takes precedence over the one that is installed
        when FAStT Check setup is run. 
   - FAStTCheckSetup.exe  (the install file for FAStT Check)
   - FAStT Check.PDF - User's Guide	
   - DRVRDISK.EXE - A self extracting non-bootable diskette image of
     the following:

3.0 Drivers (released)
      	
	 NT:  QL2100.sys version 7.04.04.04 or later
	 NT:  QL2200.sys version 7.04.04.04 or later
	W2K:  QL2100.sys version 7.04.03.02 or later
	W2K:  QL2200.sys version 7.04.03.02 or later
         NW:  QL2100.HAM Version 5.40v or later
         NW:  QL2200.HAM Version 5.40v or later

4.0  Batch files
    
      - A file to facilitate installation/removal of
        the drivers (Windows only).
        DRVINSTL.BAT - Saves customer drivers and installs above
                       drivers
        CUSTMDRV.BAT - Re-instates customer drivers
        NWDRV.TXT - Netware instructions to update drivers  

Notes:
 A) The above released drivers are supplied in this package in the event
    that a customer has not migrated to this level of drivers and wants 
    to retain its present drivers. To run FAStT Check these drivers will
    need to be installed and then removed prior to returning the system
    to the customer. A batch file is provided with this release to
    facilitate this procedure. This batch file should only be used for
    the purpose of installing these drivers temporarily . At any other
    time use the formal install process to install drivers.
 B) You will need the Novell Netware Toolbox from the Novell Support
    WEB site (support.novell.com) to update Netware drivers.

5.0  FAStT Check.PDF: FAStT Check User's Guide

    The package will extract to the C:\Windows\TEMP\FSTCHECK directory.
