1.0  Overview

This package includes the kernel specific Broadcom Linux driver
version 2.2.27 to support RedHat 7.3.  Provided is the file
BCM5700.o compiled for kernels 2.4.18-3, and 2.4.18-3smp.
Both versions are contained in the tar file.

This driver supports Broadcom BCM5703 silicon.

3.0   Build and Installation Instructions
_________________________________________

The driver is released in binary form.  Simply copy the BCM5700.o
files into the appropriate subdirectories.  For example:

  /lib/modules/2.4.18-3/kernel/drivers/net/bcm5700.o

or

  /lib/modules/2.4.18-3/kernel/drivers/addon/bcm5700/bcm5700.o


Then load the driver:

   insmod bcm5700
