Patch for Access IBM System Information Readme This package installs a new file (sysinfo.cab) to correct an error message seen when selecting Start -> Programs -> Access IBM -> System Information on IBM NetVista S40 and S40p (6644, 6645, and 6646) systems. NOTE: By selecting the 'yes' button after seeing the error message, the user can proceed as usual. This update applies only to machines running Windows 98SE, Windows Me, and Windows 2000 Professional. The update does not apply to machines running Windows 95 or Windows NT. Print this file so that you can refer to it during the installation. Downloading the update ---------------------- 1. Click the file link to download the file from the Web page. 2. When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save the downloaded file. Installing the update --------------------- 1. Click Start. 2. Click Find. 3. Click Files and folders. 4. Type updtcab.exe in the search box, then click Find Now. This will locate the updtcab.exe file you just downloaded. 5. Double-click the icon for updtcab.exe to unpack sysinfo.cab to the C:\IBMTOOLS\SYSINFO directory.
