Intel (R) 810 Chipset Driver for Windows 95/98

This package installs an update to the Microsoft(R) Windows(R)
9x device driver for the Intel 810 Chipset Graphics driver  
that comes preinstalled in your IBM(R) Aptiva(R) computer.
This update requires approximately 17 MB of space on your
hard disk (drive C). 

With the exception of the 2194-441, this update package is
intended for all IBM Aptiva 2194 machine types that come
with a preinstalled Intel 810 Chipset Graphics driver.

Print this file so that you can refer to it during the 
installation.


Downloading the update
----------------------
1. Click the file link to download the file from the Web page.
2. When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save
   the downloaded file.


Installing the update
---------------------
1. Click Start -> Find -> Files and folders.
2. Type e43z23us.exe in the search box, then click Find Now.
   This will locate the e43z23us.exe file you just downloaded. 
3. Double-click the icon for e43z23us.exe. 
4. Follow the on-screen prompts to install the device driver.


Testing for successful installation
-----------------------------------
1. Make sure that your system is shut down and restarted before
   you continue.
2. Click Start -> Settings -> Control Panel.
3. Double-click the Display icon. 
4. Click the Settings tab.
5. Click Advanced.
6. Click the Adapter tab.
7. Verify that the software version is 4.12.01.2586 PV 4.1.
