This package installs an update to the Microsoft(R) Windows(R)
95/98 device driver for the SoundMAX Audio adapter that comes 
preinstalled in your IBM(R) computer. This update requires 
approximately 6.0 MB of space on your hard disk (drive C).

This update package is intended for IBM Aptiva machine types 2193-xx,
2194-xx, 2196-xx, and 2197-xx, and for IBM NetVista machine types
6058-xx, 6059-xx, 6568-xx, 6569-xx, 6578-xx, 6579-xx, 6648-xx, and
6649-xx that comes with a preinstalled SoundMAX Audio Adapter. 

Print this file so that you can refer to it during the installation.  

Downloading the update
----------------------
1. Click the file link to download the file from the Web page.
2. When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save
   the downloaded file.

INSTALLING THE UPDATE
---------------------
1.  Click Start, then select Find, and then click Files or Folders.
2.  Type d63z29us.exe in the search box, then click Find Now.
    This will locate the d63z29us.exe file you just downloaded. 
3.  Double-click the icon for d63z29us.exe. The default folder 
    setting should remain C:\IBMTOOLS\DRIVERS\D63Z29US.
4.  Click Next.
5.  Click I Agree.
6.  Click Finish.
7.  Click Yes.
8.  Click OK. Follow the onscreen prompts and choose to reboot at 
    the end of installation.
