MT-32  

 - MIDI Playback Software capable of reading Type 1 Standard MIDI File format
 - SysEx patch bank transmitting utility (i.e. MidiEx)
 - Roland MT-32, CM-32L, CM-64, or LAPC-1
 - MPU-401 compatible MIDI interface
     (Not required for LAPC-1 users.)


GENERAL MIDI

 - MIDI Playback Software capable of reading Type 1 Standard MIDI File format
 - General MIDI Sound Device



This Standard MIDI File was recorded directly from Sierra's "King's Quest 7"
adventure game.  It is both MT-32 and General MIDI compatible.  MT-32 users
must first transmit the KQ7.SYX patch bank in order to obtain the proper
sounds during playback.  Failure to do this will result in improper playback
of the song file.

   THIS FILE WAS DESIGNED FOR GENERAL MIDI PLAYBACK.  SOME ADJUSTING MAY
   BE NECESSARY FOR PLAYBACK ON THE MT-32.
