To fix this issue: 1. Run the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager. 2. Right-click the SAM website. 3. Select Properties. 4. Click the ASP.NET tab. 5. Select 2.0.50727 in the ASP.NET version list. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Download the EXE file to a directory on your hard drive. 2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. INSTALLATION NOTES: - For complete database, network, and client requirements, and to ensure proper installation and functionality, please consult the Readme file contained in the SoftPaq package. - Do not install HP SAM 2.2.0 if you have less than 1 GB of memory (which is below the HP SAM requirement) on the HP SAM Web server. - Upgrading an existing Session Allocation Manager installation to V2.2.0 requires a minimum of SAM V1.1.0 (Web Administrator, XPe Client, CE Client, and Blade Service). For any existing installation prior to SAM V1.1.0, it is recommended that a complete installation (not upgrade) be performed. - HP SAM 2.2.0 is compatible with previous HP SAM releases. You can mix between versions 1.1.0, 2.0.0, and 2.1.0 HP SAM client, blade service, and Web server. The environment steps down to the lowest feature level to maintain compatibility. You should upgrade all HP SAM components to the same 2.2.0 version to fully take advantage of all available features. The recommended order of upgrade is: - HP SAM Web/SQL server - HP SAM blade service - HP SAM XPe client (please note, SAM CE Client remains at V1.1.0) Copyright (c) 2008 Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P.
