PREREQUISITES: None INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive. 2. Execute the downloaded file. Two folders will be created in the download directory, a DOS folder and Windows folder. When running this utility, you choose either the DOS-based utility or the Windows-based utility. You do not need to use both. Instructions for running the DOS-based and Windows-based utilities follow. NOTE: Before running this utility, be sure to set all the options in the F10 BIOS so they are set as you want them. After they are set, you can use this utility to save the F10 BIOS settings and restore or load them to another computer. RUNNING THE DOS-BASED UTILITY NOTE: The DOS-based utility needs to be run in native DOS mode, not from a DOS session in Windows. 1. From the DOS prompt, change your directory to the DOS folder in the download directory. 2. Use one of the following commands to save the F10 BIOS settings to a file or to restore the settings to another computer once they have been saved in a file: cmostool save [filename] cmostool restore [filename] NOTE: If you don't specify a filename when saving the settings, the filename defaults to ''cmos.dat.'' RUNNING THE WINDOWS-BASED UTILITY 1. Open a DOS session in Windows. 2. From the DOS prompt, change your directory to the Windows folder in the download directory. 3.
