ENHANCEMENTS:  
- Provides Intel 3945 PRO/Wireless Network Connection Driver 10.5.1.57, which is
  designed for use with Intel PROSet 10.5.0.0.

- Provides Intel PRO/Wireless 2200 and Intel PRO/Wireless 2915 Network
  Connection driver Version 9.0.4.17, which is designed for use with Intel
  PROSet 10.5.0.0.

FIXES: 
The Intel PRO/Wireless 3945 Network Connection driver version 10.5.1.57 provides
the following fixes:
  - Fixes issue where the Intel PRO/Wireless 3945BG Network Connection causes
    the notebook's wireless LED to blink off and on. This condition may occur
    if all non-WLAN devices are OFF, the WLAN radio is ON, and the notebook
    is not connected to a Wireless LAN access point (AP) or ad-hoc network.
  - Fixes intermittent issue where the Intel PRO/Wireless 3945 Network
    Connection may prevent the notebook from entering the Suspend or Hibernate
    power saving states.

The Intel PRO/Wireless 2200 and Intel PRO/Wireless 2915 Network Connection
driver version 9.0.4.17 provides the following fix:  
  - Fixes a memory corruption issue that has been identified by Intel as a
    security vulnerability.

PREREQUISITES:  
The following prerequisite applies only to notebooks (typically commercial only)
configured with an Intel PRO/Wireless 2200 Network Connection and Intel PROSet
Software:  
  - If Intel PROSet software is installed and the installed version is earlier
    than version 9.0, it is recommended that the Intel PROSet software be
    uninstalled before upgrading the driver. If the Intel PROSet software is
    required, install Intel PROSet 10.5 software after the driver is upgraded.
    Intel PROSet 10.5 software is available in HP SoftPaq Number SP33406 (or
    later) titled, "Intel PROSet for Intel PRO/Wireless Network Connection."  

NOTE:  Intel PROSet software is only necessary for users who require advanced
user profile management, single-sign-on capabilities, advanced diagnostics, or
access to wireless networks that use Cisco Compatible Extensions. Home and small
office/home office (SOHO) users typically do not need this application.

HOW TO USE:  
1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.

NOTE: After the files are unpacked, the Setup program runs automatically. If
the setup program (Sinstall.exe) needs to be run manually, look for it in the
download directory.
