New features - 1. Support for the iLO Shared Network Port on the DL360 G4, ML370 G4, and DL380 G4. 2. Support for Secure Shell (SSH). Note: After upgrading to iLO 1.60, a SSH connection will not be available for approximately 30 minutes while the key generation occurs. This is a one time delay. Supports OpenSSH & PuTTY clients. 3. Virtual Media Enhancements including: Support for scriptable virtual media access, CD-ROM images support, composite device (floppy and CD-ROM) support Scriptable virtual media allows the user to connect/disconnect the virtual media devices via XML tools or the CLI. The virtual floppy images and ISO 9660 CD images are served from Windows IIS or Apache servers on the iLO management network. The virtual media applet can now use ISO 9660 formatted images as the source of the virtual media CD-ROM. Composite device support allows the virtual media floppy and CD-ROM drive to be connected simultaneously from the Virtual Media applet. 4. Support for a command line interface (CLI) which is accessible using SSH and telnet on the iLO management network or using the host serial port where supported. The CLI allows you to: view and manipulate the virtual power controls view and manipulate the unit ID (UID) invoke the text console or virtual serial console generate non-maskable interrupts (NMI) if needed iLO Advanced users can view and manipulate virtual media 5. Obtain two formatted 1.44 MB diskettes. 2. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory. The file that is downloaded is SP25782.EXE. 3. From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file: SP25782 [ENTER] You will be prompted to place each formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a diskette drive to create the diskettes. Be sure and note the first and second diskettes. 4. After the diskettes are created, you may delete the downloaded file SP25782.EXE if you wish. 5.
