DESCRIPTION: This SoftPaq contains the LEAP supported driver for Pocket PC 2003 
             for the iPAQ Pocket PC models listed below.

  IMPORTANT: This LEAP supported driver is not compatible with an 802.1x network
             and the WLAN driver update for the iPAQ.

  NOTE: LEAP (Cisco Lightweight Extensible Authentication Protocol) is supported in
        the system firmware and software for the h5400/h5500 iPAQ Pocket PC Series for
        customers whose network supports this feature. LEAP is wireless technology
        that is built on the 802.1x authentications for local area networks (LANs),
        which allows users to roam freely and not to be tied to any one specific domain
        or to the rotation of encrypted security keys. Customers can use their username 
        and password as defined by the administrator.

ENHANCEMENTS:
 - Changes the LEAP user interface to default to remember the password for
   the APs with the same SSID.

FIXES:
 - Fixes WEP enabled Ad-Hoc connection problems.
 - Fixes Ad-Hoc communication problems between iPAQs.
 - Fixes connection problem when a device is left idle for a period of time, becomes
    disconnected, and has problems reconnecting. 
 - Fixes Voice over IP performance.

HOW TO USE:

       1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.
          The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with 
          a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.   
       
       2. Establish an Activesync connection between your iPAQ Pocket 
          PC and host PC.
 
       3. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions
          to install the iPAQ Pocket PC h5400/h5500 Series LEAP Support.
          
       4. Perform a normal reset on the iPAQ Pocket PC.
