RETURN OF THE SHADOWS Release Date: 4/20/04 MAP DESCRIPTION Very vertical 1on1 / 2on2 quake deathmatch map dressed up in classic quake texs. Map consists of one quite large atrium and one smaller and has five layers. This map started of as purely a gameplay experiment. My goal was to make a complex and fun map with lots of vertical fighting. Because i liked the result, i decided to start texturing and detailing it and make it into a proper map. So this map is made with gameplay in mind. I tried not to let what architecture there is to get in the way. The map has 2 rocket launchers, 1 lightning gun, 1 grenade launcher, 1 sng, 1 yellow armor, 1 red armor and a quad. TECHNICAL Editor Used: GtkRadiant 1.5.0 (Custom SPoG experimental build). Utilities Used: Tyrlite, Txqbsp modified by Bengt Jardrup, Rvis modified by Bengt Jardrup, TexMex, Photoshop Textures: Ripped from dcdm5a.bsp. Author unknown.
