Quickly, you wrap a tourniquet above the wound, hearing screams intermingled with static, and brief moments of silence echoing through your radio. You peak from the rustic door, slightly ajar, listening to cannibals in their bloody, savage congregation; feasting on anything still alive in the research facility. After fumbling with your radio, you find the last channel still active, and put out a distress signal. Minutes pass - Silence. You sit against the wall, ready to accept your unfortunate fate. Suddenly a garbled voice, screeches through your ears. "Hello? Can you hear me?" You reach for your microphone and find it smashed to bits; collateral damage from the unknown skirmish that left you bleeding earlier. "If you can hear this, we're coming in from Phobos. If you are still alive, meet us outside the excavation cave in one hour. May god have mercy on us all." Minutes pass - Silence.
