The SHRINE.WAD is my first wad file. I have attmepted to make my idea of an ideal 2-player deathmatch wad. This wad is also great for 3-4 player deathmatch. ================================================================ For : DOOM ][ Title : The Shrine Filename : SHRINE.WAD Author : Scott Armatti Email Address : armattis@studenta.msu.edu Editor : Waded 183 by Mathew Ayers Misc. Author Info : CPS major at Michigan State University. Employed at a local computer store: ACD Computers, E. Lansing MI, 48823 517-333-0900 Description : Three main areas. The large area has a "shrine" in the center. There is a Rocket launcher and both blue power-ups here to draw players towards the center of the level. The main are also includes a large staircase leading up to a dark ledge and a small, dark maze where a player may run in and loose an attacker. The two smaller areas are great ambush sites. There's not a whole lot of ammo laying around so once you get a weapon, make your shots count. This level should DEFINATELY be played using -altdeath (DEATHMATCH 2.0) Special Thanks to : My co-workers at ACD computers who helped me play-test this level. : Mathew Ayers for creating a FANTASTIC and easy-to-use editor. (My $15 is on the way Matt!!!) : My wonderful wife Stacey, who sits at the desk across from me every night studying for her PhD while I stare like a zombie at my monitor. : The guys at id software for creating the most enjoyable and artistic game ever. ================================================================ * Play Information * Episode and Level # : MAP01 Single Player : Yes (Very Boring thought) Cooperative 2-4 Player : Yes (Also a drag) Deathmatch 2-4 Player : Yes!
