NOTES:

1. The objective of the map is to get the blue key and reach the exit.
2. The sub-objectives are to lower the 4 pillars that block access to the blue key (which is on the platform at the 'South' end of the map.
3. Each pillar is lowered when the player picks up one of the 4 weapons (chaingun, super-shotgun, rocket launcher, plasma rifle) in the various buildings.
4. Once the 4 weapons are acquired, proceed to the South platform and use the elevator to reach the blue key. This elevator is also indicated by the blue lights next to it, and the arrows on the ground that point to it.

SECRETS

1. Enter the building in front of the start area. After going around to the other side of the building you'll see an invisibility artifact inside a locked area. Step down to the long hallway (with the locked area to the left and the barred windows on the right). Stepping down opens the locked doors, so run to the doors to get inside the secret area.

2. After picking up the chaingun on the balcony, return to the room just inside the balcony. An area has lowered (inside which a cacodemon was hidden). Look carefully at the wall and you'll notice a different texture. Push on the wall, which will lower to reveal the secret area.

RUNNING THE DEMO:

1. The demo is for ZDooM, v2.096; it will not work with any other version.
2. Make sure your DooM & ZDooM files, fear_key.wad, fear_key.lmp, and demofear.bat are in the same folder (directory).
3. Use (double-click on) the batch file provided.
