        Long Description: IBM High Performance Optical File System (HPOFS). The IBM* High Performance Optical File System (HPOFS) is a removable media file system for optical storage devices. HPOFS can be used along with or instead of the OS/2* 2.0,2.1, 3.0(WARP) file allocation table (FAT) file system. HPOFS uses the unique features of optical media, and features include: Long name file support (254 characters maximum length). Mixed case file name support. Full extended attribute support. Multiple code page support for world-wide use - Code page 437 U.S. ENGLISH - Code page 500 EBCDIC - Code page 850 INTERNATIONAL ASCII - Code page 942 JAPANESE - Code page 944 KOREAN - Code page 948 CHINESE.
