The graphics in this production was made during a snowy week in January [a bit delayed...]. I guess you're not interested in hearing more explanations about the delay, so I'll start with the greetings right now! After hours of intense discussions, we decided to make this a moose-free [c] music-disk [TM]. But don't worry, all you moose lovers out there. I know there are quite some different musicstyles on thedisk. The reason is, that we felt a lot of the music-disks released nowadays are quite boring. All the tunes are more or less identical. This is Nrg [at the moment he's reading trough my [ Zods ] texts and that's why I have to type something here too !!] As everybody know [?!?] I was a musician until riecently, but I started to code and find that it was fun, therefore I haven't made so many tunes the last months !! Well I don't need to because I've made 'Mod.Lepra' it is about 500kb and nobody except Zod, Valkis and Prowler have ever heard it. It's to bad for everybody [they don't know what they are missing !] Another great module I've done is a one with the world famous chip-sounds in the module 'getost' by Zod.. When talking about Zod he once made a superbremix of culture beats 'rocket to the moon' unfortunatly only Ache heared it and I understand that I missed something [snyft] Hmm.. Nrg here... hrmfskt.. Hmm.. When Zod wrote all that crap you've been reading since you choosed my scroll, I've been typing a few words in his scroll... hmm.. It's a bit weird but who cares ??? See Yaa somewere else... :O] Hi there this is almost the ultimate scrolltext.. The best one is the text by me and Nrg well it's not written yet but I'm sure it's going to be superb ?!?! Shit this is hard... Everything I would like to write will be written in the text by me and Nrg. It will probably be something about how to create a stupid music disk like this one ! A good advice never make one unless you know exactly what you are doing otherwise it can become a huge project and after a while it is realy boooring. Enough complainments !! Hmm. Lets,boogie!! I didn't write let's boogie Nrg did !! Oops we found out that our sprite [mouse pointer] had disapeared, well must have been gone for a while [1-2 hours !] yes we found it the sprite DMA should be turned on. It must have been so since we started to detect a diskchange which Was much harder than expected ... At the moment the source file is Mouse169.asm it's 72064 bytes long and compiled it is about 150kb [including pictures but no tune !!] Yez Roxette Dangerous!!!!! humm what ????? Well I don't know but right now over a week after that I wrote that we are working with Mouse210.Asm and it is about 190 kb long.. Yes I know,it is worthless information for you but who cares We found out that all those texts are really short so I have to type some more to increase the reading time a bit !! You will notice that this is the only text that won't restart ???, Yezz at last you have found the most unserious text on this disk, although that no dish-cloths or something as strange as that will be found here. Here we are going to talk about the making of a music disk like this !!! First of all you need a mouse routine [most important !!] After that a keyboard routin is necessary [when you find out that your rather cool mouseroutin is almost impossible to use, but youcan't change that routin because it's so nice and lovely ???]. The menu is next, you can't code anything without an almost finshed menu... oops I forgot the mousepointer animation which is, well I don't wan't to talk about converting it !! After a cuple of days your graphician has changed almost everyting in the menu, shit it's just to start all over again... Now it can be rather good to have a music routin [it helps if you want to play the music !!] We had one but it didn't work on an A1200, well then it's just to get anotherone but I heard that Prorunner 2.0 had a bug in it [haven't checked it out myself]. Are there any more replayroutines ???? Yes there are as a miracle braniac [Hi there thank you for sending me a working replayroutin and a lot of other things. Hope you get your intro ready !! Yes we are thinking about going to the neatherlands to somwere in holland 2 this summer , will you be there ??] Opps what did I say yes the replayroutin.. Well I don't think that I can write anyting more about that. After that, the real problems start for example how do you check if a disk is inserted or not. Our first try was good and it worked but Nrgs A1200 didn't like it at all [I guess],we just steped as fast as possible and well it sounded [I think Nrg wrote sounded too right now !!?] horrible don't try this at home !! After that we just have to try different methodes and after a while it seemed to work [I hope it still does]. If you have reached this far in your work with the music disk you understand that you are almost finished but a few things remains such as writing scrolltexts, making menues, and finding non existing bugs and other strange things.. That's were we are now. Now you only have to put a trackloader [not coded by Incido [ He made ours!! ]] in the source.. That will probably make the source over 155kb, for the moment it's 152kb or something.. Over 15 files are included, therfore it takes a while to compile it [around 3 seconds]. Back to the making of the musicdisk : fist of all don't listen to Listen to your heart by Roxette [because we do at the moment. I'm not sure why but it's ok.] Well that's it. What remains is the system and how to make it run on all computers [like pc atari ???].. It's here all the problems starts so I won't say anything about them. Now you have a musicdisk. You just have to upload it to all BSS and internet and shit like that. This part of the production is called spreading !! [in case you didn't know but you have got it so that's probably not a problem but for everybody that don't have this musicdisk get it so you can read about spreading and there after get it.] Well I hadn't thought that over it might be a rather complicated after all. Let's say if you don't have it, get it... This shuld be released today 94-05-23 but I don't think we will make it so the releas date is 94-05-26 or something like that.. The problem is Nrg were supposed to write here too but he's busy [writing scrolltexts about the modules [that's what I did in the beginning but I had nothing to do with them, so a just wrote three or four of them and after that started with this crap wich I've been working on for an hour or so. I'm rather bored, but all texts must be ready befor we code anything more that means NRG HURRY UP with those module infoscroll texts. Here is another subject THE Dotroutin : Yes it's realtime calculated and rotates in the xy plane and changes radius and position and maybe something more. For the moment I'm not sure how it works because Nrg totally destroied my source and well it works thereafter... As everybody says it could have been optimized but who cares it ain't. The reason why there are so few dot is that it shuld work on a A500 to [we thought] and Nrg makes a lot of strange blitts in five bitplanes [don't ask me why but I don't care because a musicdisk is made only because the musicians wants to release some tunes and not because the coders want to release their faboulus work ..] :O] Now Nrg told me that I had to write another one of those module info text therfore this might be the end !!! Bye for now Hmm.. this is Nrg typing a few bytes in this very very BIG Scroll text... I don't think Zod told you all the problems with making a musikdisk... First of all you better get some real backups on your HD... Then you better delete every byte you can find on it.. Mystic Waves .. The name standes for it self !!!! This 207 kb long tune have a titel that I [ Zod ] mix up with U2:s Mysterious Ways. Well, I'm not going to tell which one I think is the best, but it might be this tune but who cares !???!?! Writing 'might' remindes me of our musicdiskmenu file called might and magic that's a rather strange name of a menu file... But who can stop me from naming my files however I like.. Yes that's freedom !!! :O] Financia . Hmm.. This tune is 78 Kb long and appears to be one of the first tunes in - Songs of Infinity - .. This tune was from the beginning made by me [Nrg] and sounded like Crap...?!?! But after a few hours work by Ache, this became really good.. I know that the melody-sample sounds a bit strange in the beginning but we didn't found any better.. Sorry.. Hrmfskt... For the moment I haven't nothing else to tell you about this tune, except it's tracked in a very wierd tempo, so why don't you read some other stuff, so I can continue my work with the other module-texts... See Ya !! :O] Out of control .. .. This song [also called 'byte bandit rave' is probably the oldest thing [exept for dedication] that we choosed for this little musicdisk.. In the begining it was mentioned to be a BBs-intro tune.. But always when Zod try to do something it ends with a few Bset's !?! [This time in a shape of a glow-worm ] [exactly the same thing thing happend with this musicdisk.. Just look at the Credits part and the Diskchange routine ???? ] I [Nrg] think this tune is quite good due to the song lenght and playtime... From the beginning this module contained almost 100kb speech-samples.. But we decided to cut all this samples and use the diskspace for other stuff instead.... Hmm.. I'm sure that Akke wanted to type a few bytes about this tune, but he's not present for the moment .... Okey.. This module-info-scroll approaching it's end in a hurry, so why don't you just listening to the tune for a while ..... Mr.Ebony .. This is one of the best tunes in -Songs of infinity - I [Nrg] think... .. Hmm.. tadum.. tadum..... The lenght of this tune is only 111 Kb.. I wonder why I always have to write. Nrg will now read through my text [hehe]. Well I have absolutley no idea of what this tune sounds like, but if Nrg thinks it's good, so I suppose it is so. He also thinks that this text is long enough so it will soon restart .. [enjoy it or die... ] - ZeroDefects 2 - This module is about 107 Kb and it was made for a game a few months ago. Hmm. What can i tell you more about the module.... Hmm. .Yes.. This version is up-speeded ?! a little bit, which makes it about 10 Bpm faster than the original version... Have you noticed the roaring in the left channel in the beginning of the tune..??? It's a sample of Zod when he's playing with his hedgehog Sven-Arne... ?!?!?! Hmm.. that's all.... Seafood .. Hmm.. This is a 192kb long tune, made summer 93.... Seafood is Dutch and is some kind of nickname for Stomage .. ?!?!?! Well .. Nowadays this tune sounds quite booooring , but I still think it's good enough to fill some empty tracks on this disk.. Now Nrg is going to hit Zod's head with a frying-pan. That will hopefully improve his imagination ore someything ??? Zaablankk...!! Let's skip this crap about cooking.... Back to seafood... The lenght of this Song is for the moment not interesting so let's talk something about the German fire-department... No, now take a Brussels sprouts and be happy .. [ Zod have just found his dictionary..That's explains all the bull crap ?!?!? in this scroll.. Hmm.. if you want more information about this song.. Please read the Ache-scroll and get his very personal addresses... This is also the adress you should use if you want to complain about Akkes horrible sounding middle part of the tune ... Why not a seagull ???? Electric Hair Length: 52 kb Hmm, this is the shortest song on the disk[s], and maybe the weirdest one! Accordion-Techno [TM] is a suitable definition for this piece of 'art'... Originally, Electric Hair was made for a intro [which, ofcourse, never were released...] and has been hangin' around for 6 months until we decided it was time for it to be released on the music-disk. By the way, the accordions samples comes from Ramirez... I [Zod] think I must add someting here all my texts have been longer although I know nothing about these tunes. I used Electric hair to torture Drowsy or what he is called. Hmm he has never been the the same after that. I wonder why ..... Visions of the past.. Lenght: 270Kb Hmm.. This is the only [I think?!?!] song that appears to be what Zod always call a Crap-tune or a diskfiller... Hmm.. In other words that means a tune with a speed under 125 bmp..... Ohh.. Except Zods apprehension about this tune, I think it's really good.. Hmm.. Aches mad solos in this tune may get you on your nerves.. but don't worry... hehe... Se Yaa ! Achtung This song is called Manic Man and is dedicated to Incido.. [ -the man with no working play-routine.. hehe ].. The lenght of this module is about 226Kb and it's made in February 94.. I [Nrg] think it's one of the funniest tunes in this musikdisk so keep listening to it for awhile.. [or listen to your heart ...] Hmm.. If you don't like Aches speech-samples let me know.. Well I guess this 246kb long tune is a 3 minutes remix of a very very long original version [ it was to boring for this music disk or something ?! ]. This is Aches favourite I guess, after all it's THE tune he keeps playing in his car. I'm not going to give you any more details sorry ! Nrg said that this tune was easy to write about but I'm not the man to do that becouse well I have nothing to do with these tunes but who cares ?? Unfortunatly a sea-gull flew into the room and brought Nrg with him .... So I will have to take a gun and start the hunt.. Feel so yolky .... This is the tune with the strange Ache melodie [ according to Nrg ]. I can't tell what I think because I can't remember what it sounds like, but I think I'm going to make this infotext better than any of Nrgs. I can say that because I'm much more experienced than what he is [ I've written about 10kb of texts today and he has only written about 3kb or something like that. Althought we both have been typing for a cuple of hours. Ouupps... Let's go back to the info.... This tune is 240kb short and includes no samples at all, hmm I think that must be wrong. It was named and maybe made after that we for some weeks had called everything for something with yolks in it, by the way yesterday Nrg ate a pizza with eggs on and therefor ofcourse yolks !! That might be rather uninteresting to know, butthough I already have told it to you I can't take it back. Now Nrg got shocked about the length of this text [it's longer than any of his ones and I've only been typing for about 10 minutes and he for half an hour]. When this is the last tune on this disk you might wan't to know way the tunes were placed as the were : Well we used Nrgs casio fx3900 p [pocket calculator] and made a random program on it.. Thats way you migth think the tunes are placed in a strange order. I think that Ache should have done it better [ he woulden't have used random ] but when he's not here I have to do almost everyting, otherwise I would have let him do all those boring and uninteresting things .....
