64HDD - The CBM Drive Emulator

Code is being developed by Nicholas Coplin, ncoplin@lycos.com

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Registration

Although you may be using a freeware version of 64HDD it will require
a registration code to be entered before it will run. This code is
obtained by completing the on-line registration form or if you have
   troubles by emailing register@64hdd.com

The auto-reply from the above email will give you a code which needs to
be entered on the command-line used to run 64HDD, for example

   GO64HDD -code

where -code is registration code for the particular version you are using.

Registration Problems

You've sent an email to register@64hdd.com and not received a reply?
Don't panic. 95% of emails are responded to straight away. But
occasionally the auto-reply may be delayed or not received. There are a
number of reasons why this happens:
   1) Your ISP doesn't allow email from lycos.com or mailcity.com
Some ISPs block these addresses as they assume them to be spam. If I
see the bounce I will reply to it manually, usually in a coupleof days.
   2) Lycos is off-line at the time of your email. This can happen regularly
as Lycos has scheduled maintenance outages. Your email and reply may be
queued for a few hours because of this.
   3) You emailed the wrong address, yes people do it. Remember: correct
address is register@64hdd.com or if this fails, c64hdd@lycos.com
