10) Make sure the correct model is selected, then click 'Next'

After the files have been copied. The Oki driver will be installed.

Known Issues
============

Compatibility with Microsoft Word (97, 2000, 2002)

There are several known issues when printing from Microsoft word, versions 97 2000 and 2002(XP).
These problems are 'Slow Printing', 'Improper spacing of characters', 'Incorrect Characters per inch (e.g. If you select Utility 10CPI, the printer will print Utility 11CPI) and when using 'Double High' fonts Microsoft Word will also set the font to 'Double Width'

To resolve this, select 'Tools' -> 'Options' and select the Compatibility Tab.

From the Drop down list, 'in Recommended Options For:' , select Microsoft Word 6.0/95.

Then select 'Tools' -> 'Options' and select the Print tab, then uncheck the 'Allow A4/Letter paper resizing' option.

2) ECP Parallel Mode

In some cases printing may fail if your PCs parallel port is set to ECP, EPP or ECP+EPP mode. This setting will need to be changed in the PCs Bios to either normal or SPP mode. Please refer to your PCs documentation for changing settings in your Bios.
