1. General Issues 
=================

* If the connection between the camera has been broken because the
  power to the camera has been shut off or the cable has been
  detached, the camera icon may still be displayed.  The connection
  may not be re-established when you try to reconnect. Please
  reconnect after restarting your computer.


2. Issues with the [Scanner and Camera Wizard]
==============================================

* When you click on [Explore camera (Advanced)], and try to perform a
  copy or other action in the displayed window, the Wizard stops
  running correctly. Do not perform a copy or other actions in this
  window.

* If you rotate an image using the [Scanner and Camera Wizard], the
  image information and other data may be partially or completely
  lost. To rotate the image correctly, use the application software
  that came with the camera.

* Images taken in portrait (vertical position) or that have been
  rotated in the camera may be copied in the incorrect rotation. In
  this case, use the application software that came with the camera to
  rotate and copy the image again.

* When you copy an image, the copied image's thumbnail may display in
  the incorrect rotation.

* You cannot copy RAW images or movies. To copy RAW images or movies,
  use the application software that came with the camera.


3. Issues Related to Viewing and Copying Camera Images with [My
   Computer]
===============================================================

* When showing the image list, the image list may not display
  correctly.  In this case, refresh the display by selecting [Refresh]
  from the [View] menu.

* When you select [Details] from the [View] menu, the file extensions
  of RAW images and movies are not displayed. To check a file
  extension, highlight the image and select [Properties] from the
  menu.

* Images taken in portrait (vertical position) or that have been
  rotated in the camera may be previewed in the incorrect rotation. In
  this case, rotate to the correct rotation in the Preview window.

* You cannot preview a RAW image. To preview a RAW image, use the
  application software that came the camera.

* If you try to preview a movie, the [Open With] dialog box
  appears. To preview the movie, select the appropriate application
  software.

* The modification date/time stamp of an image you are trying to copy
  may sometimes be off by several hours. To copy the file correctly,
  use the application software that came with the camera.

* Images taken in portrait (vertical position) or that have been
  rotated in the camera may be copied in the incorrect rotation. In
  this case, use the application software that came with the camera to
  rotate and copy the image again.

* When copying a RAW image or movie, the copied image's name does not
  contain the file extension and is not associated with an
  application. To copy the RAW image or movie correctly, use the
  application software that came with the camera.

* When you copy a RAW image or movie, the thumbnail file is not
  copied. To copy the thumbnail file also, use the application
  software that came with the camera.


4. Issues with [Canon Camera Properties] 
========================================

* The settings you set using [Actions] may not be reflected properly.

* If you set [Start this program] using [Actions], you may not be able
  to copy an image when you connect to the camera. In this case,
  select the device named [WIA-Canon Camera] in the program that ran
  when you connected and copy the image.

* When using the [Save all pictures to this folder] setting, saved RAW
  images and movies do not have file extensions and are not associated
  with application software. To save RAW images and movies correctly,
  use the application software that came with the camera.

* When using the [Save all pictures to this folder ] setting, saved
  images may have modification date/time stamps that are off by
  several hours. To save the image correctly, use the application
  software that came with the camera.


5. Issues Related to [WIA-Canon Camera]
=======================================

* You cannot copy RAW images and movies. To copy RAW images and
  movies, use the application software that came with the camera.

* If you use this driver with [Details] selected, an error message is
  displayed, and the computer will shut down abnormally. In this case,
  use with [Thumbnails] selected.
