Welcome to the Agony Design's official stuff
collection. This collection contains all products released by our group
and some product made in cooperation with other groups. Disks are in .d64 format
and were packed by PkZip and files were packed by GZip:
- Agony Warez #0.1 -
(Agony Warez 01.zip-123
kB)
-
Tychy Demo -
our first spreadable file demo. Just a jumping scroll & music. Made
on First Computer Meeting in Tychy, where Taboo released their 'More Than
Nops' demo.
-
Small is Beautiful
- the first real file demo, containing just an intro and a main part with
nice music from 'Gordian Tomb'.
-
Primitive Music Player - totally useless music player tool.
-
Twilight of the Gods - our first megademo, released under
the CHAOS label. We released it at the Elysium & Antia party on 28-30.6.1993
and it got ranked on the fourth place. This demo contains a sideborder
Harry part, 25 dycps, the first logos from Astaroth and early musics by
Shogoon.
- Agony Warez #0.2 -
(Agony Warez 02.zip-119
kB)
-
Dickshake - our first trackmo, and in addiction - the first
polish trackmo. This demo contains some crazy ideas such as a FLY-PART
or another part of Harry's story. And, as bonus, our musician Shogoon has
coded The End part. This trackmo was released at Asphyxia's second Hagar
party (26-28.08.1993) and we got ranked on the third place on the demo
compo. It was our last product under Chaos label.
-
Utopia - an first anti-clerical
file released by us. Very primitive (I have drawn all the graphics in hires
format myself - just imagine the power ;), but the outlook wasnn't too
important here. We just wanted to say something, what we know till today.
-
State of the... - a small
but full of action demo. But it won't execute without... (check it!)
-
Later preview - preview
by very first game by Agony Design. Especially intro is worth to be checked
out. After some improvements we sold this game to TimSoft for quite good
money.
- Agony Warez #0.3 -
(Agony Warez 03.zip-133
kB)
-
Technological Snow - the first real demo production by Agony
Design. We spent a lot of time on coding effects, drawing graphics and
especially debugging. And the effort was worth of our work - we became
second at the second Elysium&Antia party (29.12.1993) - before so wellknown
teams as Asphyxia. We were surprised and shocked. And... it is very first
real Agony Design demo. It contains a lot of code in trackmo style (without
music interupt), nice gfx and 12 minutes long music by Shogoon. There are
some world records such as IASC upscroll for example. And of course another
part of Harry's story.
-
Swap Time #1 - first issue
of our magazine for swappers. It was an idea from Eyeris/Fatum and I agreed
to code outfit for that. So, you can call it as coop magazine between Agony
Design and Fatum. The main topic of this zine is simply - adresses.
- Agony Warez #0.4 -
(Agony Warez 04.zip-161
kB)
-
Trance - first graphics collection by Roder. After Roder
left Fatum and joined us we decided to prove that he is one of the best
Polish graphic artists. Some time ago his picture has archieved the first
place on Elysium and Antia party, and people were waiting for another masterpiece.
So, we made it and it was shock for scene. It was too good for a first
collection. Shogoon made nice music and i have coded and designed it (as
usually).
-
Kredki - after success of Technological
Snow we started to make something similar based on Amiga demos. At that
time I was mainly impressed by two of 'em - Technological Death by Mad
Elks and Desert Dream by Kefrens. Our first dentro 'Kredki' contains a
lot of effects (of course limited on C64) from these demos and a strange
'techno' track by Shogoon. This demo has won the demo compo at Fatum's
copy-party in Rybnik and it got really good ratings in 'The Pulse'.
- Agony Warez #0.5 -
(Agony Warez 05.zip-127
kB)
-
Dance with the Evil - Astaroth's first gfx collection. All
pictures were made in FLI. The quality isn't too good, but after this collection
Astaroth decided to make pictures in hires only, and as you probably know
- it was just great choice for him. He is a real artist, and as he said
- FLI is too primitive to make something worth to be seen.
-
Swap Time #2 - second issue
of ours swappers-zine. Improved IFFL outfit and some chapters (mainly post-addies).
Done in cooperation with Aspheron.
-
Contact Note #1 - small contact note with Digger's nice logo.
- Agony Warez #0.6 -
(Agony Warez 06.zip-284
kB)
-
Party Art #1 - an collection of competition graphics from
the second Elysium & Antia party. We had an idea to make a compo-gfx-disk
like a gfx collection, with irq loader, music and so on. Check it out,
there are some great pictures, e.g. the winning picture by Cruise!
-
Sanda|y Jetboya - released
on another party - the Spring Meeting by Caution&Nipson in Chojnow.
We decided to make a fast party-megademo. As we had a lot of fun with Jetboy's/Elysium
t-shirt, so we dedicate it to Jetboy. It took about 1 party-day to link
all ideas and code some new, and then we have shown it at the competition...
and we became first. Well, it was a great fun for us all making this demo.
It contains an gel part, a lightsourced-fpd plasma by Zephyr/Elysium and
nice 'Dancing Arabians' techno part with a great Zoom4 logo by Cresh/Taboo.
At the party I decided to keep the demo unreleased, but some weeks after
the party - on public demand - we released it as dentro.
-
The Packer 2 - a great
charpacker by Morris using Action-Replay's extra-memory and turbo, has
a lot of flags and overall pack result is very good. Used e.g. in Octanoter.
-
Contact Note #2 - small contact note with Digger's nice logo.
- Agony Warez #1 -
(Agony Warez 1.zip-112
kB)
-
Metamorphosis #6 - after Trooper left Success & TRC he
joined our group we decided to release his former zine Metamorphosis under
our label with a new outfit and new ideas etc. So, this is overall the
sixth issue but first issue under Agony Design label indeed.
- Agony Warez #2 -
(Agony Warez 2.zip-148
kB)
-
Hour Toolz - our mini tool collection contains tools coded
by Morris & Explorer. There are :
-
Cross Linker Depacker
v1 - the name is self explaining, this is small tool to de-link proggies
linked by Cross Linker.
-
The Packer 2 - great charpacker
by Morris using Action-Replay's extra-memory and turbo, has a lot of flags
and overall pack result is very good. Used e.g. in Octanoter.
-
AR Sprite Editor v1.8 - this tool is especially designed
for Action Replay users. It uses the module's internal extra memory and
allows the user to edit sprites in the freezer. Produced by Morris.
-
AR Font Editor v2.0 - almost the same as above, but this
is a font-editor. Very handy if you need to improve some dots in certain
fonts. Coded by Morris.
-
Dark Packer v3.1 - fast
charpacker with three flags (Morris)
-
Octanoter 492.47 -
one of the most well known tools on the scene. A notemaker with a lot of
useful options such as octa music player, wordwrap etc... By Morris.
-
Fast Read 1.0 - fast floppy
access routines. Can be used in packers or other stuff. It is short and
easy to use. Coded by our drive-hero - Explorer.
-
Fast Save 1.0 - similar
to previous one, it allows you to use a fast-save option in your programs.
It is useful in tools. Coded by Explorer.
-
Irq/Nmi Loader 1.0
- a loader mainly designed for games and demos. It allows you to load data
with enabled IRQ routines - so you can load data while playing music, running
a demo effect or something similar. Coded by Explorer.
-
AR Just a Game 1.0 - do you remember mine-sweeper in Microsoft's
Windows? It is the same game but it works in Action Replay's freezer mode.
Coded by Morris.
-
AR Just a Packer 1.0 - nice idea. You can load all data into
the RAM, then enter freezer mode, load this packer and pack the RAM. Once
again a tool by Morris.
-
Alternative Packer
1.1 - my own packer especially designed to be used for dentros and
all programs who needs to enable irq while depacking and to control what
is depacker where. It is first version, has 10 control bytes (too much,
look on the further versions).
-
Compod's Music Pack #1
- a small file containing 11 musics by Compod. At that time he was in Agony
Design but due to some strange personal misunderstanding between me and
him - he had to leave us. But we are still friends.
-
Josh's Logos Collection - my gift for Josh/Excess (at the
moment - Spark/Elysium). He asked me to do an logo collection for him.
At that time I was proud when somebody asked me for something so I did
it fast.
- Agony Warez #3 -
(Agony Warez 3.zip-282
kB)
-
Astoria #4 - after Sailor left his group and joined Agony
Design we decided to release his magazine Astoria under our label. It needed
new outfit, so I used the previously coded outfit from Metamorphosis (of
course with some improvements). Sailor wrote a lot of text there, but this
very first issue under our label is fullfilled by chapters from Hornet,
Astaroth, Moog, me etc. I think it was very successful issue and it was
good choice for Astoria at these times.
-
Stone Gfx Collection
- this one of the younger scener in the Poland (as far I know) joined our
label while beeing in Charged. Some moths later we released his graphics
pack, and once again it took top positions in polish charts. All pictures
are made in FLI. Wait for his second collection, it will surely kick, too.
Btw, did you know that Stone is the younger brother of Cruise/Taboo?
- Agony Warez #4 -
(Agony Warez 4.zip-114
kB)
-
Metamorphosis #7 - Seventh issue of Metamorphosis, all chapters
were edited by Trooper and me. You will find there e.g. an interview with
Calt/Graffity.
-
Moog Msx Collection #3 - first Moog music pack under the
Agony Design label. I made a huge mistake, I named it THIRD collection
but infact it was his FOURTH one. I forgot one released by his former group
- Keen Acid. Enjoy all musics and a nice E-SHI picture by Astaroth.
- Agony Warez
#5 -
(Agony Warez 5.zip-311
kB)
-
Astoria #5 - another issue of this polish magazine. A lot
of chapters concerning various topics, but sadly in polish language.
-
Alternative Packer
2.0 - another version of my own dentro&trackmo charpacker. Speed
optimized (only 4 controlbytes). Designed for the usage with enabled irq,
full memory access (#$34 in $01).
-
Love advert - an picture
& music - our small introduction file for our planed trackmo Love.
-
Hires to Zoom 4 Converter
- name is selfexplaining. Coded by Morris.
- Agony Warez
#6 -
(Agony Warez 6.zip-152
kB)
-
Metamorphosis #8 - last released issue of this magazine.
After this issue, Sonor's activity level decreased and then he left the
scene.
-
Metamorphosis #9 Invitation - invitation of another issue
of Metamorphosis, which as I said before, was never released.
-
Turbo Dos Pack - small
file archive containing four drive routines by Explorer:
-
Fast Load v3.0
-
Fast Save v3.0
-
Irq Loader v3.0 (1bit)
-
Irq Loader v3.2 (2bit)
-
Alternative Packer
3.0 - last released version of my dentro&trackmo packer. This time
only 2 control bytes are used - it makes depacking much faster. This packersystem
was used e.g. in Love.
-
Happy Birthday Jetan
- a small file done for our member Jetan
- Agony Warez
#7 -
(Agony Warez 7.zip-320
kB)
-
Love - our third and the best trackmo. We won the competition
on Puke 4x4 party (10-12.7.1995) with it. It was called as third demo of
the year 1995 in Propaganda ('...most sexied demo of the year...'). A lot
of great gfx, some good ideas, almost no vector effects... You can see
e.g. animations from 'Star Wars', Glenz-Stencil vector over picture, interlaced
plasma... All musics were made by Shogoon. It is our best production so
far. I think you should have seen it...
- Agony Warez
#8 -
(Agony Warez 8.zip-320
kB)
-
Astoria #6 - what more to say? ... New outfit and a lot of
chapters containing various scene and non-scene related topics, but - sadly
- in polish language.
- Agony Warez
#9 -
(Agony Warez 9.zip-314
kB)
-
Blurred Vision - the graphics outcome by Hornet (earlier
Viper). All oldstyle-maniacs will love this one for sure. It is one big
pack with a lot of graphics and the feeling of nostalgia inside. Just watch
and enjoy.
-
Guru Meditation 1 - an collection of pictures converted from
Amiga by Comanche. Some of you probably think - 'another shit'. But try
this one, Comanch did really a damend good job, and a lot of sceners were
simply shocked by these conversions. Just look at these pictures by RWO!
Just suicide. Try to beat Comanche...
-
X-Rays - small file demo with sampled soundtrack coded and
designed by Moog himself. Nice techno track and animation.
-
Stop it! - another small file by Moog, similar in idea to
previous one, but this time containing Anti-nazi stuff. Spread it LIKE
hell because we hate nazis!
-
Turbo-Assembler 5.3 - an self-extracting archive containing
Turbo-Assembler 5.3, improved by Morris and Explorer. The main improvement
is the built-in turbo dos...
- Agony Warez
#10 -
(Agony Warez 10.zip-300
kB)
-
Pain - another dentro, the most dynamic one. All effects
are timed to the music. Nice production. Once again we got the 1st place
for it at Menhir demo-party (3-5.7.1995). Look at the GREAT picture in
wide SuperHiresInterlace+Hires Interlace by Skyle. It was a shock for a
lot of people...
-
Ostatni Odlot - graphics collection by Owen, a former member
of Triad. A lot of great gfx in FLI and IFLI format. Owen had released
some pictures before in files under Triad label and here you have all of
his works. I must admit that in real life he is artist, too, and punk in
addiction. A great combination... and a great talent!
-
The Radical Noter 1.5+ - another noter, this time coded by
our mathmaniac Inco. It contains an upscrolled proportional text and hires
logo on the left side with pointer controlling and Amiga styled buttons.
Nice idea. Editor is fully functionable...
-
TurboDosPack (2) - again some tools with full docs from Explorer:
-
Fast Load v4.0
-
Fast Save v4.0
-
Fast Load (1bit)
-
Fast Load (2bit)
-
Seq-viewer v0.5
-
File Linker - another tool from Morris. This time you can
link some files together and make an self-installing archive (runable).
Nice and handy...
- Agony Warez
#11 -
(Agony Warez 11.zip-321
kB)
-
Astoria osiem-1 - another issue of most controversial polish
magazine, this time with built-in anti-clerical game 'Operation Proboszcz'.
As usual a lot of chapters concerning various topics, but (again) sadly
in polish language. This one wass meant to be the last issue but soon we
will release another one...
- Agony Warez #12 -
(Agony Warez 12.zip-80
kB)
-
Moog Music Pack # 5 - fifth music collection by Moog. A lot
of different styles, nice proportional-font outfit and track-2bit-irq loader.
28 tunes worth to be heard.
-
Gravity 2 - two-language info note concerning first party
organized by us in Opole/Poland.
